our practices and practices of other organizations. This allows us to decide what, if anything,
we want to change.
Shabbat Service on Friday January
17th is dedicated to this topic.
We will discuss what we learned at the URJ (Union of Reform Judaism)
Biennial Conference. Mary Markle, Ginny
Greenblott, Paula Cope, & I attended this conference in December. We had Shabbat service with 5,000 Jews from
around the world. We attended
workshops. We talked with members of
other congregations and URJ staff.
We will discuss some of the ideas
and practices that we learned about. We
want to hear your reaction to these ideas.
